How TWINLION Media Group Came to Be.
In 1996, with nothing in her back pocket except enthusiasm, intelligence and a masterful ability to create, Susan de Leeuw-Cox launched a digital print company in the heart of Burlington, Ontario. Having a fine arts degree with a specialty in Photography set her uniquely apart from her competition and soon, clients looking for digital print work were also asking for Susan’s expertise in design elements, creativity and, more and more, her expertise as a guide for their print marketing initiatives. As always, Susan used to say, “yes, I can create a brochure for you… but what are you hoping to achieve with it?”
By 1999, Susan’s passion had expanded beyond print into the Internet world. Very early on she recognized the power of the Internet to change and indeed transform the world as we know it - at the people level, for businesses and ultimately on a global scale. Today, looking back, we can see the evolution indeed. Human behavior, the fundamental root of this change, has grasped the online world and all it has to offer and there is no looking back.
So, the genesis for what is now TWINLION Media Group was born.
In 2007, Sandra de Leeuw-Davis joined in partnership with Susan and together they launched TWINLION Media Group Inc. Having an extensive background in Relationship Development & Management (with 13 years in Sales and Marketing), and a natural joy for working with people, Sandra was Susan’s ideal business partner, not the least of which because they are identical twin sisters (if you’re wondering where the name TWINLION comes from, research the meaning of “de Leeuw” in Dutch).
And, Interesting times these are!
